Below it a lounger waits in the shade beside a shallow pool of tidewater that mirrors the clouds, while clumps of dune grass rise gold and dry across the whole foreground. The sea rolls in through bands of turquoise and jade, three lines of white surf breaking one after another, and a cliff crowned with scrub closes the bay over on the right.
